Cute Kids....

I just love looking at other people's blogs and getting inspiration from all the terrific work out there. Seeing how much fun everyone was having, it inspired me to start my own blog. This week, I discovered the CLUB ANYA blog, and they have some really terrific stamps! They posted their first sketch this week, SASSY SKETCH #1. I wanted to try something different, and thought this simple sketch may do the trick! I'm sure this is the first in many great challenges to come.

My daughter Madison just finished up her gymnastics class this week, and her teacher Nikki was so patient! I felt bad for her some days when the kids were a bit goofy. I wanted to make a card to say how much we appreciated her hard work and understanding. I thought the kids were so cute in the Close to My Heart stamp set "Fun Friends", that it was perfect for this project. It's hard to see, but I paper pieced the boy's shorts with the same patterned paper on the card.

Supplies: Close to My Heart My Acrylix stamp sets 'Fun Friends' (kids) and 'Say it in Style' (Thank You), black and grey flannel inks, patterned paper, green and blue textured cardstock, white cardstock; yellow tag from Westrim Crafts; pop dots from EK Success; BIC Markers.

Thanks for stopping by!
