Anyway, I have completed a card today to participate in two challenges. One is for High Hopes Challenge #18, which is to make a project themed for Easter or Spring, and the other is Jen's Sketch for You to Try (SFYTT) on her blog I {heart} 2 stamp. I just found the High Hopes Blog this week, and am excited about participating in many more challenges! Jen del Muro does amazing work, so be sure to check out her blog.
Here's my card. It took quite a while to make, but I really wanted to make the flowers pop!

Here's a picture to show how the card looks from the side, because the main picture just doesn't really show it!

Supplies: Close to My Heart My Acrylix stamp sets: Simple Beauty (flowers) and Happy Spring (sentiment); CTMH black archival ink; CTHM green, white and purple cardstock; CTMH Prisma Glitter; CTHM Liquid Glass; Sugar N' Spice ribbon from Michael's; Recollections Dimensional Stickers from Michael's; Sweet Life patterned paper; BIC markers; pop dots from EK Success; Singer sewing machine!
Madison and I are off to go skating, as Shawn is working today! Hope you have a great one!
Karine

Wow, you've made a beautiful job on this card. What gorgeous colours.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Karine! Love all the spring colours. I live in ON for a bank so am off work today. This is only the 2nd year that we have this day off. Unfortunately I have a killer of a head cold so didn't really enjoy the weekend very much. I missed out on seeing my 2 granddaughters this weekend as I did not want them to get sick.
ReplyDeleteWow, LOVE this! That image is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog background too, it's fabulous btw! :)
This is gorgeous, I really like what you've done here. Smiles, Barb
